About Frederic

Frederic has been painting since the age of 12. As he developed, he acquired a love and appreciation for Fine Art. His creative talents were spurred on through his reflections of life and nature’s beauty. He trained at the Johannesburg School of Arts after completing his education at Parktown Boys High School, Johannesburg and further expanded his artistic skills under the guidance of his great mentors George Boyes, Smuts and Philips.

His work has been exhibited at Artists under the Sun, the Agricultural Society, and from his own Private Studio. He paints primarily in oil, but is quite comfortable working with acrylics and pastels.
Through word of mouth he is regularly commissioned to paint on behalf of corporate clients, as well as corporate and Family portraits.
