About Inge

Hi, I'm Inge Meyer! A Self-taught artist living in North West, South Africa, that's in love with creating meaningful masterpieces.
My go to media is Graphite & Charcoal and sometimes a little bit of color to bring things to life!

What inspires me the most as an artist is the beauty of people, nature and the lessons taught in life through experience, mistakes and believe.

For me, art is not just something you do, it's a passion. It is a language through images where there's no words for you to explain, it's where emotions, feelings, dreams and stories come to life!

Why Graphite & Charcoal and a little bit of color? To me black and white shows something stuck in time, something that will never be forgotten, left behind and something you want to think about over and over again. Color, well, there's beauty all around us, most of the time we forget to see the beauty in all the little things life gives us.

I believe that my work will be something amazing and meaningful in every person's life with a special message that will be engraved in one's heart forever.
