About Johan Vlok

Johan Vlok Louw studied Fine Arts and Design and majored in painting in 1991, followed by exhibitions, he worked as art lecturer and also held various positions in the corporate world. Today he writes, paints, and teaches these disciplines privately and online.

In the last decade, he published 5 novels in conjunction with Penguin Random House. His books has been long listed for the Sunday Times prize for creative English Literature twice, and short listed for the JCU prize for Creative English Literature.

His paintings and books delves deep into the human psyche, the philosophies, and spirituality of humankind.
