About Louis C
Being the eldest of three, proud to have been guided by my father since childhood, I learned to create in various mediums. Drawing from an early age (two) the artist in me was awakened.

When creating I would consciously immerse myself in the serious task at hand, often being swept away from time. Wrapping my mind in cloudy skies, the rustle of grass and leaves in the wind, the soft turning cheek in a reddish glow, the late afternoon light draping its brilliant warmth against cool violet shadows. The buttery feel of paint, the scraping sound of brush, knife and charcoal on paper, palette and canvas, still lures me into timelessness. I hold my breath as I lay in the clumps of wonderful colours, to create subtle atmospheric effects, distant vanishing points, soft subtle edges and dramatic contrast.
In the process of serious creative relieve, whistling, humming, grunting and intermittent singing is not uncommon..
