About Lynn

I am self taught and have had no formal art instruction. I love painting ethnic portraits and portraiture in general is my favourite subject matter.
I have exhibited my works worldwide and have works hanging in many private homes abroad and in South Africa. I am an associate of the Watercolour Society of South Africa since 1991. I won the Neumann Award for best watercolour miniature on exhibit at the Australian International Miniature Art Awards in 1995.
My proudest achievement is being mother to my son and daughter, who have always encouraged me in my pursuit of art and trying to get it "exactly right!"
I don't paint because I want to, I paint because I am compelled to!
