About Marina

Marina Browning is a Capetonian artist whose works are inspired by colours of the Cape fynbos and the misty line and form of the Cape Mountains. Marina's style is realistic and graphic, with the robust use of colour and form. Her work is influenced by her pre-digital advertising experience and by modern contemporary African and European art. Marina has a passion for the local fynbos, Nguni Cattle, Kwa-Zulu pots, succulents, and South African lighthouses.
She sells her work at local art fairs and accepts commissions from interior designers, owners of historic homes, textbook publishers and local businesses who seek out her unique designs.
