About Stefanie

I am inspired by vivid colors and nature, especially tree scapes. The tree scapes are not always representational but rather draws the viewer into a dreamworld of line and colour. I find myself drawn to intriguing lines as compositional element, as seen in pen and ink artworks, as well as in oil paintings. The luminosity and softness derived by watercolour inspires me to explore the still life genre.
