About "Baobab Trio (3/3)"

I have always been fascinated with the history behind the baobab trees. They are truly beautiful trees with such character and I thoroughly enjoyed drawing this trio. It is believed that the baobab is a symbol of strength, power, grace, and presence. This artwork has been beautifully framed and is a lot larger than the dimensions given with the frame on.

About Lauren

The passion I have for art started at an early age.

As a young girl, I found my most natural expression through my artistic abilities.

I have now been doing art for the past 13 years and love every minute spent in my little studio space.

Oil paints have always been my main medium, until I discovered, 3 years ago, that I could get the same sort of detail from pastels. My subject matter choices vary, but I enjoy still life's, animals, landscapes and nature.
