Reference BWS 13/24 About "Black & White Series #13" To take a break from painting in oils and doing some drawing, I enjoy doing studies of cat(s). We have four cats in the house offering plenty of original images to work from. I start with a light gestural pencil drawing. The final painting is done with traditional Chinese materials only: Chinese brush (squirrel no.00), Chinese solid ink grinded on a slate stone and Chinese paper (containing 10% cotton). |
