The bonds that ties us can be a blessing or a curse. At times one rails at the weight of those ties and at another time those very ties can be a mooring against life's travails. The Blue Man tries to wrestle the rope from its anchoring to set himself free but may inadvertently sever his tether to all that makesnhim who he is. A metaphorical umbilical cord?
