Reference boats About "Boats On the Beach at Night" The West Coast in South Africa is unique, our oceans are very cold, our beaches are beautiful, it is known as a fishing community and fishing boats on our beaches creates such a habitat experience, all tourists here do not leave without taking photos of scenes such as this and this was a photo I had taken one evening where our skies just had such an awesome colour to it. |

I was born in Jhb, went to a Childrenshome in the Free State where I finished school, I moved to Natal and now retired in the Western Cape, I started painting 3 years ago and today I am a full time artist, I often visit National Parks where photography is my other passion and combine it into my art, I recently exhibited my works and sold 3 paintings from it. I truly enjoy working in oil medium and still attend art workshops with a well known artist in the Westcoast as I believe that one can never know enough and enjoy challenging myself with new techniques. I believe that success is in your feet, you have to walk until you find it. I am fortunate that I am able to be a full time artist and spend my days painting to my hearts desire, this is why one can see the emotions in my work, as my spirit goes into my artwork.
