About "Boys on the Beach"

This is a picture of a friend's children playing on the beach. This picture meant a lot to me as I too have a child with a medical problem. My friend's son is autistic, but in this plain view of them playing you cannot differentiate between a boy that is not autistic and one that is. We tend to forget we are all the same, we just have different mountains to climb.

About Odette

For years I've juggled my life between a desk job and motherhood and still do, but hidden was a talent that I've only discovered in 2013. I went to an art class with my sister 3 years ago, not really interested in going but went with just to please her. It awakened something in me that I will be forever grateful to her for dragging me along that day.

I started off with landscape scenes and am now doing more genre painting. I've also done some animal paintings and are especially fond of painting horses. When I paint a calm takes over and it is as if I am living the moment of the painting.

Basically, I am an everyday normal person, working with a family and have the best hobby in the world! I live my life to the fullest as if there is no tomorrow!
