About "Cape Lion" I had never had a desire to paint wildlife before or attempted to because the detail scared me and the need for accuracy. Intention defines all my decisions in life and I am careful to make conscious choices that resonate with me at the time I create an artwork. So I made a decision to challenge myself, to push my own personal boundaries and face my fears. At the same time I chose one of nature's best in my opinion. The male lion is a powerful image with his beautiful mane, the sunset representing South Africa and the touches of golden sunlight kissing the edges of his majestic body, this artwork is guaranteed to evoke emotions of peace, tranquility, stillness yet it also portrays power and wisdom. The colour choices will increase your vibration and certainly make you feel happy. |

Just the same as images we see and words we hear will make us feel a certain way. I believe in healing the soul and being good to other souls. My ultimate goal when creating an artwork is being able to captivate an individual by having them become silent when looking at a painting and slipping into a trance like state whilst they drink in all the color and savor the good emotions from looking at the pretty content. The way a painting makes you feel is so important. It's my way of taking my talent and giving back by healing souls.
