About "Clay Vessel #2"

I have a fascination with Archeology; therefore I have mastered a multimedia technique in my painting to create this ancient old look of clay vessels/pot. Each vessel represents the fragility of the human being and the inside thereof filled with all aspects of life experiences and emotions. The painting becomes an exploration of textures and colours flowing into one another on the canvas and an image of the clay vessel appear - as individual as a fingerprint. This vessel is then emphasized by painting the outline of each vessel.
