About Debbie

As a self-taught artist, I was drawn to painting and sketching at a young age. I enjoy working with a number of different subjects and mediums, although oil tends to be the predominant medium in my current work.
I have a great passion for the old art works, and am particularly inspired by the Renaissance and Pre-Raphaelite art works, with my favourite artist being Waterhouse.
In each piece I strive to connect with the beauty and soul of the subject and in doing so create an emotional experience that connects with the observer.
