Reference CAT About "Early on a Cold Morning" This is my first big oil painting, we had to use a theme about animals - so I painted one of my favourite animals; the cat. I like the cat because they are playful but mystique, independent and interesting creatures. Originally the painting had a small poem about the cat, but I decided to rather paint other it so that the viewer can make their own minds up about the painting. The idea that I was playing around with is about people concepts about things, animals and other people. We see the cat is a pet, but yet there is many wild cats in the street that doesn't have that nature - who is truly wild and quite scary. |
