About "Fire"

Being new to painting I wanted to try a still life, something simple and small. So the kitchen was raided and I came away with two little chilis and a half bottle of Tabasco. Without any real knowledge I think I got the colors right (I hate the American spelling of colours)and it kind of makes you want to get stuck into something hot and spicy.
