About "Fly By"

Reflections in water have always intrigued me especially when the bottom of the pond or stream is simultaneously visible. Here a dragonfly approaches two pebbles and shimmers in the water while the gravel bottom is visible through shaded areas and ripples. Could looking into the future be like this?
