About "Golden Buddha 2"

I was drawn to doing a representation of Buddha based on a photograph I saw of a metallic bust,this is a much larger rendition than my "Golden Buddha 1"(see in my gallery).
Currently I seem to have a fascination with metallic acrylic paints.I also used an acrylic liner for the textured detail on the head

About Diane

Diane was born in England and trained as a textile designer at Loughborough College of Art and Design. She immigrated to South Africa in the early 1980’s and has lived in Milnerton, Cape Town, South Africa for many years.

She paints in acrylics and also has a keen interest in photography. Most of her inspiration for her art work is taken from living in this beautiful part of the world.
