About "Happy Hippo"
This hippo I photographed in the beautiful Okavango Delta in Botswana, Africa. In creating this mix of my wildlife photography and combining it with pen, spray paint, and inks, I pursued blending traditional African symbolism with graffiti--ancient and contemporary forms of expression. This is envisioned through the majestic cheetah and the bushman hunter (both photographed at the Kgalagadi). This piece embodies a dialogue between the ancient spiritual and the pulsating energy of the contemporary -- a visual tale of interconnected survival and cultural echoes, bringing compelling depth and vibrant color to your space with a touch of humor.

About Ann
I have created several series of works, Wild Africa, Prey.Pray. Zulu Lulu, and the "EWE or sheep series."
In 2006 Ann started her Ewe series of works, which propelled her into local and global recognition.
In addition, Ann is a published writer, journalist, teacher and facilitator of Art &workshops targeting corporate, domestic and educational target markets.
