About "Hindu Wedding"

I was commissioned to paint this portrait by their son for the couple's 50th wedding anniversary. I had to work from a poor quality photograph that was 50 years old. I used my artistic license to change the terrified looks of a 14 year old and the bewilderment if a 19 year old to one of a loving couple anticapating their future together.
