Reference Psych 01 About "Inner Angst" Inner Angst is a term for inner conflict, fear or anxiousness. There could be a conflict between the principles of the self and the principles of others. The painting attempts to communicate the various emotions e.g. being trapped, having to escape, feeling that everything is prickly and sharp, a silent inner scream. Thus there is an inner conflict and the self has to make a decision as to whether to change it's principles and standards or whether to fight for what it believes in. |
