About "Island Playground"

my family went on a holiday to Madagascar where we stayed on a beautiful island and I was inspired by the kids playing in the turquoise water and the general peacefulness of this scene

About Margie

After many years of commissioned weavings, painting murals for homes and restaurants as well as painting sets for drama productions, I moved to painting with acrylics on canvas in 2005.
My inspiration is gathered from nature, especially flowers. Flowers have always fascinated me with their inherent variety of beauty, colour and form.
