About "Keeping Winter Out"

One winter's morning we lazed under the covers keeping warm when I noticed the bouquet of yellow roses against the winter sky and trees outside the window. The bars further enhance the feeling of keeping winter outside, away from the warm duvet and out of season yellow roses sent to us.

I'm inspired by the play of light - how it reveals emotion in landscapes, figures, and fleeting moments.
