Reference K0005 About "Last breath" It was a cloudy day the first time I set foot in WA. I went of to the beach and captured this beautiful sunset. I was so mesmerised by it, that I had to paint it. Knowing that Soft pastels with their vibrant colours will be my first choice. The complimentary colours of blue and orange give life to the painting. I don't use spray fixatives on my pastel paintings. A layer of fixative over finished piece is likely to dull the colours and change the look of a painting. |
