About "Life Goes On"

Once a home to a family, the run down, vacant cottage, stands alone in the misty landscape. The garden gone wild yet now assuming an organic beauty as nature reclaims her patch of land. Time has moved on, but life goes on as the lone sheep nibbles green shoots growing in the corroded drive.

I'm inspired by the play of light - how it reveals emotion in landscapes, figures, and fleeting moments. My work blends realism with symbolism, using layered brushwork, glazes, and mark-making to explore themes of solitude, transformation, and connection. I draw from history, mythology, and personal experience to create visual narratives that resonate across time and culture.
