About "Light"

This work has been entered for an Exhibition entitled "Light" which is part of the Hermanus Fyn Arts Festival in June 2018.

It is inspired by one of the most famous and important of Bible passages. - John 8 :12.

When Jesus spoke again to the people he said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life"

Rich browns with touches of red, yellow, blue and violet create a restful scene, and reflects the glory of the Messiah.

This oil painting on stretched canvas measures 297 mm x 420 mm or 11.5 inch x 16.5 inch
