About "Line of Sight - Grahamstown"

She looks into the world from a shack a silent strength shining from her eyes. Each line that makes up the contours of the face, signifies the days, events, years, maybe to many lines, too many events for such a young life. Yet, this is her reality. The whole is more than just the sum of the parts. With this work I aim to bring her into your Line of Sight.

About Stefanie

Born in Pretoria (South-Africa) in 1976, Stefanie de Beer currently lives and works in Pretoria and is known for her humanitarian drawings as well as exceptional body painting and sculpting skills. She has been working in the art industry for the last 16 years with wide application into the corporate sector. She has exhibited both locally and internationally in a solo capacity.

de Beer’s popularity is indeed growing on a global scale, acclaim for her work spreading across geographical and cultural lines. Sales to private collectors in Australia, Taiwan, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
