About "Little Bay Simonstown"

Simonstown is a quaint seaside town, steeped in naval history, with many interesting old building and beautiful shores. I love to paint the sea and this little beach was perfect for capturing the feel of the place.

About Lindsay

I'm a Graphic Designer but Oil Painting has always been my passion. I love the use of bright color and loose brush strokes. My inspiration comes from the things I see around me, kids playing, the sea, mountains, interesting objects, and the human body. I have done various part-time courses at Ruth Prowse School of Art.
I don't paint as much as I would like to as I have three daughters who keep me busy, but whenever I have a moment, you will find me in my studio, painting.
