About "Mandi"

This work is about my sister who was diagnosed with cancer. The hummingbird is in flight, signifying her free spirit. There is a circle around the bird signifying the limitations of the disease...but the circle does not manage to contain the bird and it still flies and spreads across the boarders of it's limitations.
