About Ina

Ina Le Roux

Inas roots are deeply embedded in the Klein Karoo's Oudtshoorn district, South Africa. She now lives in Pringle Bay near Hermanus. Childhood memories, filled with values like honesty and integrity learnt from loving and caring parents, motivate a successful art career.

Ina le Rouxs philosophy about her art is complex yet simple: Grace, which I am fortunate to have plenty of, enables me to be creative.

Ina is constantly looking for new challenges to capture on canvas and finds her inspiration from the simple things in life. Not elaborate or complicated themes, but simple things like a deserted beach, a fallen tree, a mug filled with geraniums or a stretched-out landscape will inspire her to take up her palate knife.

I therefore love creating landscapes with energetic colours depicting the absolute beauty of our land and its contrasts.

She has undertaken commission for several projects and her paintings are admired both here and abroad.

I paint things that are dear to me and that tell their own unique story. Indeed.
