About "My Brave Girl" This painting was created for the 2023 National Portrait Competition. I wanted to paint the person closest to me, my daughter. I was nervous about painting her but I wanted the world to see her through my eyes, her vulnerability and the strength it gives me. This painting was selected as part of the Top 100 exhibition. |
