About "Naive Art - After the Storm"

This work is taken from my recently completed theme "Breakout!" After a stormy passage I now bask in the security & joy of true love & gaze upon the world with a greater appreciation of all its seasons...A time to feel swamped in tempestuous seas!...A time to mourn the loss of friendships!...A time to grieve the departure of children!...A time to feel utterly lost!...A time to feel abandoned & rejected!...A time to celebrate the joy of new life, greenness & growth!...A time to live with exaltation & abandon!...& now?...the metamorphose is complete!

Face your fears!...Live your dreams!...Be true to yourself!
Easy to say!...not so easy to do! I had to "Breakout"...the difficult & extremely painful decisions were necessary in order for me to regain my authentic self!..But oh!..at what a price!!I'm just sorry I hesitated for so long!Now I enjoy braking down walls & I can't to experience the road ahead with all its ups & downs, twists & turns but always exiting, fulfilling & uplifting. No time now live in the "Comfort Zone" & survive by being a "conflict avoider" & "please disease" baby! Often my brush seems to develope a life of its very own & the results are always amazingly different to what I had originally planned! Colours are always bright; images vibrant & bold; not often subtle & never timid!..always "Fearless!" Something of my "life force" is uniquely present in every one of my works - whether it be ceramics, 3D mosaics, sculpture or jewelery & I'm happy to share this with the world!

Update!!...I have recently had all my works appraised by South Africa's foremost Art Auctioneer / Appraiser who stated that my work "...definitely holds good investment potential"!!!.. Please enjoy!!
