About "Namaqualand Storm"
Namaqualand is on the west coast of South Africa and for most of the year can be a very desolate and hot place, however, come winter and with good rains it turns into a floral paradise having one of the richest displays of flowers in the world. I have spent many days here and wish it were more.
The photographic images I create, with the help of Photoshop, are made from my photos of flowers, bark, lichen, rocks etc. My passion is to make graphic images in the form of landscapes or abstract images which remind and encourage us to be gentle with nature. The first images I made about 6 years ago were as a result of observing of someone taking a photo with a cell phone. The results inspired me to produce images I am proud of indeed and exceed by far my wildest dreams. The colors that I am able to deliver constantly amaze me with the tones that are produced.
I have had no exhibitions todate
I was educated in Port Elizabeth where I completed matric
