About Jennefer Ann

Jennefer Ann Gordon Grant

I am a South Africans realistic Wildlife/Landscape and Portrait Artist.

I was born in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) in Salisbury where I studied art as one of my main subjects at school. I have traveled around the world and lived in Mauritius and Dubai and then moved to a quiet town called George in the Western Cape for 14 years where I found myself and my passionate love as a Professional Artist.
I have since then moved to Chinsta East, Eastern Cape where I now am living with my husband Peter Gordon Grant. I work from my quiet little gallery with joy and enthusiasm.

My parents ( Dieuwie & Piet Holthuysen) are both very well-known Landscape and Wildlife artists from Zimbabwe helped me discover some of my artistic talents. I have also enjoyed a few tutoring lessons in oils with Peter Swart a well-known South African landscape and wildlife artist as well as lots of tips from the well-known artist Brian Ryder and Andre Grobler.

In my spare time I travel with my husband and I enjoy taking my own photographs to study and work from.

My works are inspired to share with you the Heart Beat of Africa and my love for our Creator and His awesome beauty inspires every one of my paintings.
I love to bring out the uniqueness of Gods palette in colors and I enjoy realism.

I paint in different mediums, oil, watercolor, acrylic and some pastel, but most of my works are in oils.

A lot of my works are commissions.
