Reference OP 402 About "Roses in a Jar" This was my very first painting after joining an art class. The flowers had been left in the studio a few days before and being a rookie were long gone before I was finished. Fortunately we had taken some photographs which I then used to finish. One day when I'm famous you will be able to show off with "one of his earlier paintings". What was interesting was my choice of background colour(lilac/burgundy) while my art teacher chose a bluish background for her painting of the same jar. I think its really cute but then I'm a bit of a Philistine when it comes to art. |
