Reference Manet, "On the Beach at Boulogne" About "Rothko's Manet" Mark Rothko's paintings in the Tate Modern in England inspired me. I also used one of the great master, Manet's paintings, because I can learn from his paintings. I love the sea and that is one of the reasons why I live in Ramsgate. I have many happy childhood memories of beach holidays. I want to take the viewer to a happy place. |
