Reference Photograph About "Santos Beach - Mossel Bay" Most mornings, when I have dropped the kids off at school, I have half an hour before work starts. Since January 2018 I have been going down to the beach, Santos, to breathe the fresh air and enjoy the lovely view. Mossel Bay is truly a beautiful place. In winter, it's still dark when I get there, and I get to see the most breathtaking sunrises. |

Or sometimes, I think about a painting for ages, and suddenly it all just comes together. I try to be flexible... I never realised until recently how strongly my emotions actually come through in my paintings. Things that bother me, or inspire me or make me happy generally show in my latest paintings. I find it really uncanny how this happens totally subconciously. If I had to try to paint how I feel, I dont think it would work! Its something that just comes from in your heart, from who you are.
