About "Serenity" This painting was inspired by a young mother who passed away recently due to alcohol abuse. She was in her early 30's and we watched her fade away. Very sad to see and experience. I did this painting as a dedication to her and as a healing image for her husband and 7 year old son to remember her by. |

I am inspired by our constant discovery of our individual purpose. Color I believe holds energy and can make a person feel a certain way. Just the same as images we see and words we hear will make us feel a certain way. I believe in healing the soul and being good to other souls. My ultimate goal when creating an artwork is being able to captivate an individual by having them become silent when looking at a painting and slipping into a trance like state whilst they drink in all the color and savor the good emotions from looking at the pretty content. The way a painting makes you feel is so important. It's my way of taking my talent and giving back by healing souls. Being an artist is my purpose and every time I see I am blessed, every time I complete a painting I am blessed and every time I am asked to paint for somebody I am blessed. Ready to serve.
