About Jeffrey

Found my passion for still life's and landscapes In artist
like Rembrandt, Manet, Monet and Cezanne. With the
theory of Cezanne "Harmony In parallel with nature" I
try to incorporate the theory in my work.
My landscapes are mostly about Paarl Rock Mountain.
With shapes and Forms of the mountain it inspires me
to paint it.
My still life's I consider to paint everyday objects
and strive to present simple utilitarian objects in
such a way as to imbue them with new
significance that would make the viewer newly
aware of the beauty of the things we tend to use
and take for granted. My works about
composition, sensation and colour that's all
brought together.

2005-Twenty one on Montagu gallery
2006-Invited for a solo exhibition at the launch of the South Africa's Leading Managers Awards in Johannesburg and they used one of my works for the South Africa's Leading Managers book.
2006-I was also invited by Pasella to do a portrait of Cindy Nel.
