About Christoff

Christoff Basson loved art all his life and has been drawing since schooldays. He started painting in 1982.oils, watercolours and lately acrylics on canvas. His first exhibition was with Richard Scott at the VEO gallery Cape Town during December 2003. Work currently at VEO and Long Street Galleries Cape Town . Received personal tutoring from Olga Hoffman, well known artist, art lecturer and art critic.

Ray Bradbury, famous USA author stated ;

" I do not write, the other me ………demands emergence constantly."

This is my experience in creating art….I have no choice. This is how I express what I have lived, and what I experience and observe. The canvas becomes my voice . Hopefully it adds colour and joy. The subject matter is all around us.
