James Durno

Born: Cape Town, 1968

James Durno is a Fine Artist & Visual Communications Consultant, working in multiple disciplines & styles in the Fine Art & Corporate Communications fields. He has lectured Fine Art & Illustration, has worked as an Art Director, and is an award winning Author & Illustrator of children[0x1]s books.

James has had more than thirty Fine Art Exhibitions. His works hang in numerous private & corporate collections in South Africa, Holland, Germany, UK & the USA. Corporate collections include: Bidvest, WesBank, BATSA, SA Breweries, Deloitte & Touche, Consol Glass, The UCB & ABSA. His Painting [0x1]Welcome to The World[0x1] was used as the official image for the ICC 2003 World Cup Cricket (Outdoor Campaign, CD Sleeve, etc.) The original now hangs in the Presidential Collection in Tuyn Huis, Cape Town. His Artwork, [0x1]The Beautiful Game is the Official licensed image for the Official Bafana Bafana Compilation.
