About Cariza

Cariza is a self taught artist, married and has three boys. Her love for painting, a life long pursuit, has become a true passion over the last six years.

She loves working in bold, attention grabbing colours and believes that each painting should tell a story and make people happy. It should allow them to experience the lighter, more simpler side of life. Modern living has become increasingly complex and harsh. Through her work, Cariza aims to remind people of the beauty and serenity that surround them.

In her own words:

[0x1]I look at things in my own way and portray how I see them. Everything I see is a possible painting and I take a thousand pictures in my mind every day. How can I paint this? What colour and form can I give to that?

Once I sit down and start to paint, it becomes a blur of colours and brush strokes until I stand back and see the end result. I am always amazed that the end result turns out how I imagined it to be!

I hope that every single painting I[0x1]ve ever done portrays a part of who I am and embraces my enthusiasm and love for life and our creator.[0x1]
