About Jeannette

"Art Washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." A quote by Picasso which I love. I love animals and nature and although I have had no formal training, I spent many years with one of Durban's best teachers Gail Baxter and belong to the North Coast Art Group. I paint because I want to convey to the viewer the miracle of nature. Art is my passion. I have become known as the "Meercat Artist" in our area as I love their feisty characters.

Won the North Coast Art Group Best Painting Award some years ago as well as Highly commended and Merits. Has exhibited at all the North Coast Art Group exhibitions, artGivers, artSpace, Monart Gallery, KZNSA, Green Gallery and MIELE Gallery of Fine Living. She has sold many works locally and has work in private homes overseas.
