Peet Potgieter
About Peet I am very fond of the outdoor live and more specifically the animals in our beloved country, South Africa. I grew up in the Freestate town Sasolburg in the Vaal Triangle. I start my working career as a draughtsman and many years later change carreer to become an estimator and later an cost engineer. As a family we move from Gauteng to Western Cape, Cape Town in 2010. There my paths cross with a very talented "meastro" who introduced me to the wonderfull world of painting. My preffered medium is oil on canvas and my first paintings start of with landscapes. Because of my love for the wildlife and nature, I started with wild life paintings and enjoyed it very much.
