About Christie

"Painting with light" ...Inspired by nature and our wonderous earth. My most admired images are still-life and landscapes. ..... you need to be in exactly the right place at exactly the right time and be able to see something others cannot.

Let me explain that.

I have been photographing people, places and things for over 10 years and some of my most favourite images are those "unexpected". My famous (in Eastern Cape at least) work of an arched window was taken on my way up the ladder in the Cape Agulhas Light House. It was an unexpected treasure - and the light was exactly right. You see, right place right time with an eye for something beautiful.

Proudly, the only photoshop effect i use is to bring out colour in a black & white image. Which means my images are original and not created with adobe.
