About "Sounds Of The Sea"

When I took this photograph I immediately knew that I had to paint it. Shells and the sea are fascinating to me. I tried something different taking the photo at that angle and it paid off as I just love the depth it created. Hope you enjoy viewing my painting.

I was born in East London, South Africa and have lived here all my life. I am married and I have three children who are all married now. I also have three beautiful granddaughters and two lovely grandsons.

I love to paint in oils and to experiment with colour and realism. I am blessed to have a lovely sunny studio from which I work and have spent many happy hours in it.
