About "Spring Near Darling"

I am always drawn in Spring time in the Western Cape to go out with my camera and record the incredible scenes that abound at that time of year.I then use these photographs as inspiration for my paintings.

This is another image inspired by a visit to The Tienie Versfeld Wildflower Reserve near Darling, Western Cape, South Africa.

About Diane

Diane was born in England and trained as a textile designer at Loughborough College of Art and Design. She immigrated to South Africa in the early 1980’s and has lived in Milnerton, Cape Town, South Africa for many years.

She paints in acrylics and also has a keen interest in photography. Most of her inspiration for her art work is taken from living in this beautiful part of the world.
