This painting was inspired by a harbour in Netherlands. As can be seen in her other paintings, she use warm colours. When painting landscapes, the sky will usually have a glow of sunrise or sunset.

About Anna

Anna Sophia Aletta Johanna van Zyl, an Educational Psychologist, studied art under guidance of Elize Olivier, Beau Art, Jeffreys Bay. She prefers working in acrylic, water colours and oil pastels. She also does pen sketches.

Anna finds her inspiration in the country life surroundings of the Eastern Cape in South Africa. She also loves doing replicas of the old masters.
