I began painting in 2006 and more recently at Spencer Street Studios in Observatory, Cape Town. I relocated to Knysna (the "artists' capital") where I now paint "full time". I recently exhibited my works at The Knysna Art Festival and sold several of my paintings. I paint with oils on canvas and wooden board. I paint various subjects including pet portraits (by commission), wildlife, landscapes, seascapes, portraits... I like to paint from photos that I have personally taken so that I "can create the vibe and the mood" of what I "I had seen in the first place".
